GET READY for the most awesome carnival built and run by your kids! In this Carnival Tycoon workshop, your child will be learning both programming and electronics by using the BBC Micro:Bit to create a suite of exciting carnival games.
Have students to role-play as carnival tycoons and build 3 functional carnival games – Carnival Loops, Ball toss, and Claw Machine. We will teach them how to build circuits and code using the Micro:Bit. It is a pocket-sized microcontroller from UK co-developed by companies such as Microsoft, Samsung and ARM. Through the workshop, students will be equipped with fundamental concepts of computational thinking, design thinking and maker experience with Micro:Bit. Supercharge their creativity by getting them to reinvent their own carnival game! At the end of the course, there will be a Carnival Open House where students will entice the patron (parents & other visitors) to play their games. All games are set at $1.00 in Codomo currency 😉
